The PCM4 design is a ruggedized computer built especially for use where stand-alone computers have to operate under particularly demanding operating conditions. They are designed around the standard life cycles of commercial computer components, with build-state guarantees of up to 18 months.
A wide range of features are available to ensure maximum durability, including specially coated humidity-resistant parts, military-grade hard disks in patented shock-absorbent mounts, and special EMC protection.
PCM4 units can be used either as servers or stand-alone computers. They are ideal for use when greater computing power and/or extra functionalities are needed – for example via use of additional graphic cards.
